Hello there, my name is Eiji. I'm a well-known admin on this wiki. This is a tutorial on how to make pages for this wiki. Because many new users are asking on how to make pages and we're tired of trying to explain it to them, we decided to make this tutorial so that you new users can learn how to make them.

Creating the page

So what you want to do to make your page is click on the search bar in the top-right corner that says "Search Atrocious YouTubers Wiki". Type in the YouTuber you want to make a page about, and hit "enter". Click on the red heading that says Create the page "Insert YouTuber here" on this wiki! When you click on the heading, it will redirect you to the page editor. You can either use source editor or visual editor. The visual editor is recommended for beginners, while source editor (the page editor I use) is recommended for more experienced users. Make sure to use this formula:

First, upload a picture of this YouTuber. Go to Upload file on the sidebar, click on "Choose file", and click "Upload file" on the bottom left corner to upload your file of the YouTuber's profile picture.

(Give a brief description about the YouTuber)

Why He/She's Atrocious

List all of the reasons why this YouTuber's atrocious in number form.

Redeeming Qualities

List all fo the good stuff this YouTuber's done.

Trivia (Optional)

List some facts about the YouTuber.

Videos (Optional)

Use the code provided below:

<youtube width = "320" height = "192">YouTube link code (the 11 digit code at the end of links)</youtube>

Now, add the categories to the page, to help others find your page easily. If you're using the Visual editor, click on the three bars on the top right corner that looks like a hamburger, and it will bring up a drop down menu. Click on the tab that has a tag with the word "Categories" on it. Type in the category you want to add, and it will be added to the page. If you're one of the 40% of the wiki that use the source editor, to add categories, type in [[Category:]] and next to "Category:" type in an available category so that it will be grouped with the other pages in that category.

If you want, you can use a YouTuber Infobox. Here is the template:

{{YouTubers Infobox
|name =
|Picture =
|Quote =
|Gender = ''Unknown''
|Type = ''Unknown''
|Date Joined = ''Unknown''
|Status = ''Unknown''
|Subscriber Count = ''Unknown''
|Score =
}}

Templates

Templates are pages that are embedded (transcluded) into other pages to allow for the repetition of information. You can start a new template in the same way that you would start an article page. The only difference is that its title must start with Template:. Here is a formula you can use for making templates if you're a beginner at making them:

{|style="width:85%; background-color:(color code); border: 2px solid #000000;border-collapse: separate; border-spacing: 3px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"
|style="border:0px solid #000000;padding:0px;margin:0px;" |[[File:Image.jpg|350px]]
|style="width:100%;text-align:center;padding:5px; margin:0px;" |<font size=5>Big word</font><br><font size=3>Wording</font><br><font size=3>Wording</font><br>Wording
<small>{{{1|}}}</small>
|}

Here's how it will come out as:

Image.jpg Big word
Wording
Wording
Wording

In order to embed your template into a page, surround the template with two braces like this: {{template}}.

Other Essentials

It's highly recommended you use your sandbox to make your page. We don't want to have this wiki flooded with bad pages. What you do is click on the "Sandbox" button on your top right corner, and create your page there. When you feel like the page is done, click on the drop-down button that says "More", and click "Move". After that, just rename your page to remove the "Username/sandbox" from your page and then move the page to make it official.

Some Optional Shit

Also also, if you want, you can add comments to your page. After everything on your page is set up, type in <comments /> in order to add them. That way, you can talk about the page and the YouTuber himself.
